Yesterday we joined many friends to go fishing in Midway. We fed bread to the anxious ducks, played on the nearby playground, and had a picnic lunch before we began fishing. Sticking worms on the hooks was frightening for some of our friends, so we showed them how it's done. Brooklyn took her turn casting while her sisters would reel in their lines time and time again. Kennedie had enough after not long, so we will have to visit again with Daddy and see if she has a better time. Brooklyn and Grant probably could have fished all day long, only baby Grant thought his fishing pole was a sword instead of a pole. Miranda topped off the day and caught a fish with the help of her grandfather. All the kids gathered to hold and feel the flopping fish for a grand finale.
