Parade of homes

I love going to the Parade of homes every year. Each new visit gives me great ideas for decor as well as helping define the blueprints in my head for my 'dream home'. This year was particularly fun for me because of two little girls.

When people see that you are bringing your kids through the homes usually they cringe- and sometimes they have reason. My word, I saw one little girl whose parents really could have at least held her hand so she wasn't touching and climbing on things. Reagan and Kennedie not only walked through a dozen homes with me while holding my hand, but they were also FUN to be with. They were just as excited to go through the homes as I was, saying how beautiful they were, pointing out different things they wanted, and in my favorite home they exclaimed cutely, "I want to live here" right as we were walking by the owner.

Can I just say? They bring me joy beyond compare. Thank you my sweet little girls. I love each stage you grow though because we have so much fun together. I can't imagine the fun we are going to have as you grow into polite young women!
