Orem Summerfest

Last week we attended the carnival that Orem holds annually. The rain came and went through the weekend so we went as a family Friday night until the drops began and used the rest of our tickets with friends on Saturday. I couldn't tell you if the girls most enjoyed the ferris wheel with their Dad, the cars with Kaylee and Cassdie, or the slide with Maybrie and Mindi. Oh yeah. I can tell you their favorite part. Reagan and Kennedie each brought home a frog to love. To my surprise, they aren't dead yet, almost two weeks later.

My favorite part was running into friends that we haven't seen in ages, like the Sperry's. It was pretty awesome to run into people in such a big city. At the Gunnison carnival you expect to see people you know left and right, back and front, all over the place. But here, it was cool to feel like this city is ours, bumping into friends that we didn't know we would see.. Like we belong.
