Reagan told us a while back that one of her friends lost her teeth and the Tooth Fairy left her money, candy, and a toy. What?! So we let her know right then and there that the Tooth Fairy brings different things for each house and to be happy with what you get. When she lost her tooth the Tooth Fairy brought a dollar. I thought that was pretty generous considering that I always got a quarter. Anyway, Reag lost her second tooth yesterday. Since I got up at 5am to get Kenna to the dentist for her sedation and treatment and then babied her all day I was exhausted by bedtime and completely forgot about the tooth that Reagan put under her pillow at noon.
The first thing Reagan did when she woke this morning was to check for a dollar. Uggg. Poor little thing. Both Matt and I explained that the Tooth Fairy will probably come tonight and maybe had something special planned. Who came up with this notion anyway???

I think the tooth fairy is a stupid thing too, I can't tell you how many times the tooth fairy forgot to come to my kids too. And the amount of cash and prizes some kids would get for 1 tooth. Wow, I think I am going to start pulling out my teeth again and see if it still works!!!
It's ok the dang tooth fairy forgot about Braydon two nights in a row!!I think she felt bad cause mom happened to be sick...But she eventually came and Braydon got $4 dollars( at least that's what he says ) cause I don't remember that.She must have been feeling pretty generous or sorry that she couldn't had come any sooner...
I know seriously, luckily we haven't had to deal with this yet!

I'm so glad you guys are checking in on Sundance! We will keep posting as he grows. He is getting so big he looks like a little horse with big tall legs and his puppy body at the top. The kids can't lift him anymore.
I have a feeling Sundance may end up moving to our bed as well.... David is soooo busy with med school and gone till late often. So I've started pulling him in bed with me to keep me company. Sundance loves to snuggle up and will struggle to get closer to me even when it isn't possible! He puts his little nose in my neck.

TOTALLY! so classic. When Cado lost his 2 front teeth (due to accident) we forgot too, then he lost a third (also due to accident) and we forgot again, but I think i woke in the middle of the night and remembered!
