A weekend in the homeland!

Friday night we rounded up the kids, tossed em in the Pilot and headed for Centerfield. Craig Andersen, a good friend of mine, was married on Saturday. Vee and I attended the sealing, but missed the luncheon. It was hard to pass up on the lunch Fawntell had whipped up, so we decided to stay at home, which allowed Vee to attend to Brooklyn.

It was a very relaxing weekend. Good food, the olympics on Jen's bed, conversations in the shade of the west yard, cousins playing, Fred and Susan fighting--a weekend that would make Brangelina drool in jealousy. Dad even gave everyone a free blood pressure diagnosis as thus demonstrated in this picture of Gage and the Griz.

Saturday I did a 20 mile bike ride, leaving from the house, trecking down to Charles Peterson's old farm and then across the flats until I reached the south end of the white hills. When I got home in my biking uniform, everyone thought my body looked so big and beautiful that Jen had to take a picture as a memoriam of my physique and uniform.
