Picnic at the creek

Matt has been taking Reagan and the dogs across the street to the creek almost daily for a while now. Today all of us made a picnic out of it.
Matt throws a ball for the dogs into the creek and they race to see who can fetch it first. It is by far their favorite thing in life to do. Beckam leaps into the creek while Addie takes a more graceful approach by walking in. This usually means that Beckam gets the ball, so Addie will wimper the entire time she swims back to us, whining that she didn't get the ball. It is pretty comical to watch.




The girls are very much into catching butterflies or other exotic bugs. While at the creek today they caught a praying mantis. They were very happy to catch a bug that was a Kung Fu guru on Kung Fu Panda.

The girls, the dogs, and the Mom and Dad had a blast on our little picnic across the street from our house.
